I've never been a huge fan of Valentine's day. First of all, I think that two people in love should celebrate every single day of the year. Then, I think Valentine's day has become just a commercial gimmick. However, it may be an occasion to be more romantic than usual... so here there are, a few suggestions... 
Non sono mai stata una grande fan di San Valentino. Tanto per cominciare, sono convinta che due persone innamorate debbano festeggiare ogni singolo giorno dell'anno. Inoltre, credo che sia ormai diventata una trappola commerciale. In ogni caso, può essere una occasione per essere un pò più romantici del solito... ecco quindi qualche suggerimento... 


1. Cook romantic food - What about an afrodisiac dinner... o simply heart shaped food? 
1. Cucinate del cibo romantico - Che ne pensate ad esempio di una cena afrodisiaca...o semplicemente di un piatto a forma di cuore?
2. Write a love letter - That, if u still remember how to do it. And no, you don't need your laptop and phone. 
2. Scrivete una lettera d'amore - Questo se ancora vi ricordate come si va. E no, non servono nè il cellulare nè il computer. 
3. Wear sexy lingerie - In other words, choose Victoria's Secrets. 
3. Indossate lingerie sexy - In altre parole, scegliete Victoria's Secrets.
4. Propose! - If u feel he/she is the right person, why not propose on Valentine's day? Use Scrabble words to say it... or a jewel that speaks for itself such as the Dior Oui ring or the Tiffany "Marry me" Charm!
4. Fate la proposta di matrimonio! - Se sentite che lui/lei è la persona giusta, perchè non fare la fatidica proposta proprio il giorno di San Valentino? Magari usando le lettere dello Scarabeo... oppure attraverso un gioiello che parla da solo come l'anello Oui di Dior o il ciondolo "Marry me" di Tiffany!
5. Go shopping - Valentine's day may be the perfect excuse to justify a new dress or a new pair of shoes! My favorite online shop, for example, has a very interesting V-day promotion: 
5. Fate shopping - San Valentino può essere la scusa perfetta per giustificare un nuovo vestito o paio di scarpe! Il mio shop online preferito, ad esempio, offre una interessante promozione proprio per San Valentino:

    I never ever had celebrated the Valentine´s day. Maybe because in German in the past this day hadn´t been celebrated and now I´m to old for it ;) The main issue for me is that I love my lovely husband always, not only on Valentine´s ...

    I totally agree with you that Valentine's Day is so over-commercialized! However, I am a sucker for the cute pink red and white decorations and heart shaped foods.. as evidenced in my VDay blogpost! Your outfit ideas are so cute!
