In 2006, Daniele Perani, fashion coordinator for Fornarina shoes and bags, is on a plane going home from a business trip in China. At lunch time, he is served with a strange container for soy sauce, which he renames Soya Fish and that he sketches out.
In 2011, that sketch made on an airplane flight, turns into a project, thanks to the encounter with the designer Roberto Tartufoli and Remo Ciccio of Calzaturificio Mac Dugan.
This is how the sneakers Soya Fish are born, inspired by sporty vintage shoes but very modern in materials and colors. The top model is the platform, a sneaker with a very high sole, but that can be worn comfortably all day. The soles are in fact made in XL EXTRALIGHT, a polymer which has as its main characteristic the lightness combined with abrasion resistance, flexibility and the ability to amortize and limit the micro-shocks to the joints during walking.
And you, what do you think of these shoes? I can't wait to show you the ones I chose..
