I'm very interest in DIY and I see everyday wonderful tutorials by very talented bloggers who mange to create almost anything (from nothing). My first attemp was a complete disaster: I tried to make a fringe tee but it just ended up in the bin. However, I decided to try again and make my own studded converse. I 've always wanted to buy a pair but they are quite expensive (around 150€) so I decided to give myself another try. I already had an extra pair of grey Chucks in my closet and I bought the studs on Ebay (http://stores.ebay.it/kawaiissimashop). I really recommend this seller to everybody: he sells studs of any shape and colour, at a good price and the shipment is really fast. I also bought a professional clamp but with the type of studs I used you really don't need it (I'm lucky I paid it only 4€).As for the studs, I really recommend not to use the ones with prongs (because they may hurt if not well inserted) but the ones with applicators that you can close with just a click!
So... the procedure is really simple. I used a screwdriver to make small holes in the shoes and then put the studs on. If u want to be more precise you can also use a pen to decide first wher u want the studs to be; I used around 140 of them. So...what do u think about the final result?
